What is GoCardless for Xero?

GoCardless for Xero is a dedicated app that connects your GoCardless and Xero accounts. It is a dashboard that allows you to manage and view your GoCardless payments and Xero customer and invoice data in one place. GoCardless for Xero is free to use and is bought to you by GoCardless and their development partner Directli.

My invoice amounts vary, can I use this?

Yes, GoCardless allows you to collect payments of variable amounts for one-off, ad-hoc or repeating invoices.

What control do I have over my branding?

GoCardless allows you to brand the online Direct Debit forms and notifications that your customers will see.

How secure is GoCardless?

GoCardless is ISO27001 certified for information security management meaning security protocols across our business, services and products have been audited and certified with this widely recognised international standard. GoCardless is authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority.

What happens if a payment fails?

If a payment fails GoCardless will notify you via email. You then have the option to login and manually request we take the payment again. We won't charge you if a payment is unsuccessful.

Why should my customers want to use Direct Debit?

Direct Debit is a one time customer set-up, then they can pay you on an ongoing basis without needing to lift a finger - saving them time and effort. They’ll be notified before every payment, and payments are protected by Customer Claims.
